Water = important regardless if u r losing weight or not. Keep getting messages that cold water = better. Well it = a myth. Water IS just water & the difference in the caloric burn between drinking ice cold water and other temps = infinitesimally small. A few steps xtra on treadmill has same effect!
Yes your body turns the cold water into 37 degrees but again the caloric burn is almost nil.
I picked up a couple of little jars at the dollar store along with some decrative glass beads. I labeled one jar with - pounds to lose and the other jar with - pounds lost. I filled the first jar with as many beads as pounds I need to lose. Now whenever I lose a pound I move a bead into the pounds lost jar. I sit the jars on my bathroom counter and it is really motivating to want to fill up my pounds lost jar!
