Have Your Cake & Eat It Too

You know that sometimes you do have to have a piece of cake or dessert you are craving. I indulge once in a while but I only purchase one slice and when I get it home I cut it in half and put the second half in the freezer. I put the piece I am eating on a beautiful dessert plate and surround it with sliced fruit and some walnuts or almonds. I sometimes sprinkle it with cinnamon to help lower the glycemic index. Then I really enjoy it with a cup of green or oolong tea!
