Get to work 30 minutes early and go for a morning walk
I am not a morning person -- no way can I get out of bed to the gym. BUT, if I get up a little earlier and drive to work early, park the car and THEN go for a 20-30 minute walk in the morning before work, I miss the worst of the rush hour traffic and get 30 minutes of walking in before the day starts. That works for me!
This also helps wake me up and I work better in the morning than on the days I don't get my walk in -- plus the morning sunshine is great!
I'm not a morning person but I'm a stay at home mom. Sometimes I tell my 2 and a half year old that we're going walking the next morning. She always reminds me the next day. I may be able to break promises to myself but not to that sweet little face!
