Think you have no time to exercise? Use those minutes you spend just standing. Sometimes when there is a minute left on the timer when I am cooking something, I'll use that minute to do jumping jacks, squats, high knees, etc.

More Information:

Taking advantage of those idle moments can add up to some time that you are moving.

  • It dawned on me several weeks back that I could walk/jog in place while fixing my hair for the day. In the last month I have walked/jogged (mostly jogged) in place for no less than 15 minutes, 5 days a week. That adds up quickly! At the end of each stage (4 stages) in my daily hair routine I also do 15 arm reps.

    End result per month: 300 minutes walking/jogging and 1,200 arm reps.
