Is eating the inside of an orange peel good for you? The white part of the orange peel is called the pith. It has some anti-cancer properties & antioxidants & is very good for you. The white pith contains the highest amount of bioflavonoids (an antioxidant), and vitamin C of the whole orange. Also there's some great fiber in it. The white portion of the orange, the lemon and lime contains vitamin C. Lime & lemon taste acidic and sour but when consumed, are Akaline.
Juice a glass of lime or lemon juice. Make ice cubes out of it. When you have a drink, pop a few of these cubes into your drink for a refreshing taste while enjoying health benefits

Secret Lemon Smoothie: *one lemon, (Peel, pips and juice), *1 teaspoon of olive/grapeseed (preferred) oil, *a teaspoon of kelp or wheatgrass powder (optional) *water Whizz all together and gulp down.

If your garbage disposal is smelling a bit foul, turn on the water, start the disposal, and toss in orange peels one at a time. Larger peels will spin around a few times as they're chopped, helping to remove pieces stuck in there, and the smell will be replaced by the strong smell of fresh orange. When the peels are gone, keep running the disposal and the water for another minute to make sure it's all rinsed.
