    im new in the program, so how long it took you to loose this 6 pounds ?

    My local gym closed down so I started walking/running for 1 mile per evening at about dusk. Once I was past the first 4 days, I began to look forward to it. I can stop and start, run and walk at my own pace and set extra goals of how far I can run around my route before I have to walk a little. On a particularly nice day, I can now run for a mile then continue around the block for a cool off walk which is all extra calories I am burning off. As a bonus, I am saving the gym membership. I do like win/win situations.
