Getting some cardio in before breakfast make me feel good about myself for the rest of the day - it is important to me to give myself a good experience first thing in the morning.

    If I don't get up and get going right away, I find that I don't have the energy to work out when my husband rises two hours later!

    I find working out then having breakfast usually gets me off to a good start too, even though they say to have a little something before - if I'm going to do a long workout, I might eat something first. Often find I'm not as hungry after exercise, too.

    You have a SHOULDER with NO CARRILAQGE in it how do you do UPPER BODY WORKOUTS WITHOUT MAYBE PULLING IT OUT COMPLEATLY

    I do cardio in the morning a couple of times a week, but after breakfast. the other days, I do it, either in the afternoon, or early evening. It does depend on my schedule. I am really not a morning person, so before breakfast is out of the question. I would also have an upset stomach, without eating prior to exercise. emoticon

    I think a good cardio is better in the middle of the day when you have enough stamina to handle it. But, for those of you that can handle that morning run my hats off to you.

    I definitely need to get back into the early morning habit. Health issues & injury broke the cycle ... now it's time to get back on top of it!!
