I recently discovered my son doesn't like bread crust. I was just throwing the crust away. But now what I do it save the crusts in a plastic bag, and when it's full, I take my son to the park to feed the ducks.

Cut off the crusts and roll the bread thin with a rolling pin. Then use this to make a wrap with a filling of your choice. You can slice the wrap into pieces for appetizers. This gets the kids to eat whole wheat bread.
