Lower Calorie Scrambled Eggs

Members Were Sparked
This Sparked Me!

Standard scrambled eggs call for 3 eggs, some milk, and salt & pepper to taste. I replace the 3 eggs with 2 egg whites and 1 full egg, and I replace the milk with a splash of water. You reduce the calories this way, and I swear you can't taste a difference at all.

My husband has cholesterol problems and I've been trying to cut back on egg yolks. I haven't eliminated the milk in our scrambled eggs, but I quite often am able to fool him with your suggestion. Thank you for sharing.
