No matter how you feel about taking before pictures, you'll never regret taking them as you look back! Don't forgot to take some every month or so. Just candid shots can really show progression when you're not seeing it in the mirror. Take them by yourself if you need to and store them in a hidden file if you're worried about someone seeing them or embarassment. You'll be amazed at what a picture can show you that you can't see by looking in a mirror every day!
Don't let a fire, hurricane or flood take your baby photos.
This is a bit of a project but so worth your time. I put my scanner near my tv so I could do it while I watched the news or a favorite program. I took every baby picture and scanned the onto my computer. Then I took pictures of the outside of the baby books itself and things like the baby teeth
with my digital camera. You can do several things after your done from watching the photo's on your computer or tv with friends and family. I made copies on disk and the in the safety deposit box at the bank. All my kids will get a copy with their Christmas gifts too. I will have the forever now.
