I awake before anyone in my household to exercise. Later in the day It is so easy to say, "I've had a rough day" and not want to take the time to exercise. So in order to rid myself of that excuse, I do it first thing in the morning. My feet hit the floor, I dress for the task at hand and I get to it. Nothing makes me feel more accomplished in my quest for healthy living than taking care of myself first thing on a daily basis.
I also take this time to cook a healthy dinner for the day. My evenings are then less packed with more duties after work. It leaves time for a little relaxation before it all starts again.
