Love fruit yogurt (greek natural) but avoid it due to the sugar content? Can't quite hack straight plain yogurt? Blend them together in equal portions! Not only do you reduce your sugar intake, but you now have another serving to enjoy the next day.
I am in love with Chobani Black Cherry, but it contains as much sugar as a mini can of soda! by cutting it with plain Chobani, I bring the sugar count down from 21 to 15, which is still a bit high, but it's an improvement, and the 18g of protein it provides can't be beat.

Red Ripe Juicey Strawberries are Good for Diabetics
Regular intake of strawberries reduces the growth of cancer cells & supports the proper growth of red blood cells. A good source of vitamin C & minerals like copper, magnesium, & potassium. I mixed mustard into low fat Greek yogurt to eat along with meat, sandwiches and wraps. To replace thousand island dressing, I mixed half a teaspoon of ketchup into yogurt. When eating seafood, I mixed a little wasabi into 2 tablespoon of Greek yogurt and use as sauce. It helps me to increase my protein intake while reducing carbs and fats.

If you're like me then ice cream is one of your biggest weaknesses. After a meal I crave something cold and sweet. I've found that frozen yogurt is a good alternative.... as in, take your Dannon and stick it in the freezer. It comes out rock hard but after about 30 seconds in the microwave it breaks up enough to get a spoon through it. Even better is GoGurt, if you have it, it's like eating a creamy otter pop. You can also make your own popcycles, all you need is a mold and some sticks!
