The night before I lay out my excersise clothes, heart rate monitor, iPod, and training journal. I fill out my journal page complete with all the excersises I plan to do. Right before I fall asleep I think about how great I'm going to feel after my next workout. It's guaranteed to happen with planning like that!
Just because your short on time doesn't mean it's an excuse to not workout. The new excise fad Crossfit works wonders in about 10 minutes. The idea is to do multiple reps and sets of 2 or 3 excersises that work the whole body as fast as you can. Use a row machine for 250 meters at a fast pace then go into a dumbbell swing for 15 reps. go back and forth for 4 sets.....just an example. If you do the excersises properly you wont be able to do more.
This type of workout is my favorite when I only have 10-15 minutes to workout. It gets the heart rate up and fast, makes you breath heavy, targets the majority of your muscle groups, and you feel it for the next 2 days.
