I don't really remember where i heard of this, but if you behave five days out of the week and indulge more on the weekends, it reduces cravings and spikes metabolism. Also, it's a nifty reward for behaving five days out of the week!!
KEEP IN MIND: Indulge more does not mean a free for all. It just means you're a little bit more free to eat the food that isn't great for you, such as chocolate, snack foods like funny bones, caffine, etc. But you have to keep on track the other five days. By the way, I'm living proof this works!

You need to eat to lose weight. I have found out through the years that you cannot lose weight if you starve. Your body hangs on to the fat and you do not lose any after you have lost a little fluid. Eat at least 3 meals every day and a snack, but keep it healthy and low on fats & sugars.
Exercising & eating from all of the food groups has been my secret to success. I've also added fiber to my tracker to help me make sure I get in my healthy grains, fruits and veggies. I also have 3 servings of dairy. I'm a firm believer that you have to eat to lose. It works... I've lost 35lbs.
Make sure you are getting enough calories to support your workouts and weight loss. Making the mistake of not getting enough everyday can cause a long plateau and frustration. It goes against common sense to eat to lose but when you realize that it works, it's so simple!!!
