To keep my weight loss/healthy living goals fresh in my mind...I log onto Sparkpeople first thing upon waking in the morning. This reminds me of my goals, gives me a focus for the day & motivates me to strive to reach these goals. Plus my posts/comments first thing in the morning might motivate others to fulfill their goals for the day as well!

When I pet my cat and she starts purring, I know she is happy, content and relaxed and a few minutes of petting her makes me happy, content and relaxed. It also gives me a positive attitude and motivation for the day. Any pet can do this. Most are always there and willing to let you pet them.
Do Not Let Your Spouse Adversely Affect Your Plan!
If your spouse is obese and does little or nothing about it, do not let him (or her) affect YOUR plan! Stay on track with diet and exercise and let your Spark community inspire and encourage you to continue!
Self motivation and the motivation of online friends
I am surprised when I look in the mirror. I haven't lost enough for others to really notice yet but before I shiwer mornings (right after execise) when I'm feeling the highest I take a good look (yes completely nude) I can see a huge difference in my muscle tone , my stomavh hips etc. It feels great
