My usual craving times are at night. I have found that if I drink water instead of right away grabbing a snack, my cravings often go away. I "forget" to drink much throughout the day meaning my body is dehydrated and really not hungry after all. emoticon

Reach for a glass of water before reaching for a snack...works for me!

  • I also floss, brush my teeth and then gargle with mouth wash. 1) it gives you that nice minty flavor that I really enjoy and 2) who wants to go through that whole process again? It REALLY helps me to control my eating at night.

  • That is one of the hardest things for me is just snacking late at night. Most times I am not hungry, I want it because it's there. I will definitely take heed to this. - by LIVIN2BEFIT

Great reminder. I keep some lemon slices in a container in the refrigerator and sometimes add one to the water for sipping, but guzzling is much more filling for me. - by HPSANDDOLLAR
