I love my elliptical, but find it really boring staring at the same spot on the wall for 30 minutes. So, I decided; why not change it up a bit. I will work on the machine for ten minutes, and then do wall push-ups. Get back on the machine for another 10 minutes, and then work with the resistance bands. Hop back on the machine for my last ten minutes, then walk laps around my back yard as a cool down. Sometimes I will do some crunches, and so on. I am more willing to keep working out if I change it up!

If you have cable, check the on demand menu for free exercise videos. There may be some that you want to try before you go and buy them. I know that I found bellydancing and Bollywood dance exercises. Both are free, and look like they burn a lot. They may only be available for a limited time...
but while they are available, they will definitely change up your exercise routine and calorie burn.
For those of you with Wii and Netflix....free work out video's to your tv! All you have to do is request a free DVD from Netflix to connect your Wii to netflix, and pop it in your Wii. Then add work out videos to your instant queue and you can play them on your tv whenever you want.
Changing the exercise routine often helps keep it fun.
