Sometimes when I'm running on the treadmill or elliptical, I feel like I'll never make it to my calorie-burning goal for the day. So I hop off after I've burned 100 or 200 calories, then go and do my strength training, or get a drink of water, or go to the bathroom...and then I hop back on. Burning 200 calories twice somehow feels less daunting than burning 400 in one go!

    I do my elliptical for 10 minutes and them my bike for 10, I drink my water while on the bike and then back to the elliptical for another 10. If I am feeling really good I do 20 minute sets until my hour work out is finished. It sure breaks up the hour. emoticon
