Incredible Edible Poached Egg!

I have always been a fried egg eater. Knowing fried is not good I tried to poach some eggs and I discovered that poached is not only better for you but BETTER! I don't have to try to flip it without breaking the yoke, there are no gross hard yucky edges and it is easier to tell when it is done. Also, I get lots of protein without the added fat. My new favorite egg!

To make a poached egg (or two!) just boil enough water to cover the egg and slide the egg into the boiling water. (I have found a skillet works best but small saucepans work too) Give it about 3 minutes (longer if you like the yolk hard) and your egg is poached and ready to eat.

    We recently rediscovered our Salad Master egg poacher and also discovered how great this made our eggs.

    You can poach eggs in the microwave. I have an egg holder for two eggs and it takes 50 seconds.
