No real secret but simply the truth that is only obtained through experience. After losing excess weight from playing football (at 20) I had stayed in excellent shape and at a great weight until around 40 at which time a series of events beyond my control resulted in weight gain and less physical activity. During the long struggle (still at it) to get back where I was, it became painfully clear that I should have found the will and dedication to stay in shape; much harder to get it back vs. maintain

When I get off work every day I donate 15 minutes to cleaning my house whether I think it needs it or not. After about one month you have totally cleaned everything and gotten rid of most of your clutter.
The secret here is that after that one month of 15 minutes a day your house is easy to maintain and keep clean.
Keep reaching. It is the only way to obtain your goals. Goals will almost never just jump into your lap. There must be reaching on your part to make them happen. Sometimes you will reach and not obtain, but you will never obtain without reaching.
