Occasionally I need something hot and comforting and perhaps off the menu for the day. That's when I nuke myself a small (usually red) potato at a "cost" of about 120 calories. I put on a teaspoon of butter, a bit of salt and some pepper and maybe a couple of teaspoons of cottage cheese or a couple of teaspoons of salad olives and savor each bite. It keeps me from grazing mindlessly through the pantry and refrigerator.
