If you're prone to kidney stones, staying hydrated during summer months is your best option, say experts. Go easy on meat. A diet high in animal protein increases your risk of kidney stones & eating fast food more than twice a week ups your salt intake. Limit fast foods that are high in salt. Slice up some lemons and add them to your water, lemons have citrate, which is a kidney stone inhibitor. Add juicey fruits and drink lots of water.
