When you find yourself craving that one thing and you can't find a substitution that fills it.... indulge! I'm not saying do it every day but every once in a while if you can make it fit in your calories then do it. Better a small controlled amount now then risking a binge later

  • I actually allow myself 1 day a month for a "treat"... not a day that I just go hog-wild, but a day that I actually plan on having something that I typically try to steer clear of. Maybe I have a birthday party that month, so I allow myself a "normal" sized piece of cake (not something huge)... or my personal favorite: a lunch date w/ one of my friends to the local Chinese buffet (again, I don't overdo it though). This gives me something to look forward to so I don't feel totally deprived! - by NASCAR_CHICK
