Whenever i ate only healthy food the whole day and i come back from work i need sweeties. Even if i resist the feeling for 3 or more ours in the evening i cant hold it no longer.

I found a no calorie solution for my sweet tooth. Diet coke, such as coke zero.

Its pretty sweet and the carbonacid gives me a filling feeling.

Almost everyday i gonna drink 500 ml...thats of course not much healthy, but for the beginning a substitute for worse choices like dunkin donuts ;)

  • Soda, even the zero calorie sodas, are made of carbohydrates, which in turn are sugars. Too much simple or complex carbs will not break down and store as fat. I have dove chocolates in my fridge for those cravings. I refrigerate them because they become too hard to bite which forces me to suck on them; getting that sweet flavor for a few minutes. I limit myself to one - all I wanted was that sweet flavor. :) Sometimes I do the same thing with one or two m&m's. As long as you don't splurge and keep eating, the 22 calories in one piece of chocolate will statisfy you. :) (At least it does me more than the soda) Goodluck! emoticon - by KISMET56
  • Actually diet drink raise your insulin levels so high they actually cause you to become hungry and make your body store more fat. I had to give them up after i learned this. Sorry i know it stinks but for my sweet tooth i have a small peice of dark chocolate it is better for you because it will only raise your insulin a little bit but with exercise you will burn that little bit of sugar up in no time... - by TRUENURSE89
  • Watch the aspartame tho...it is very unhealthy and can cause affects...google it and read. I completely gave it up after reading it. What worked for me was those mini mini bags of chocolates...a couple pieces and it helps curb my craving. AND KEEP THEM OUT OF SIGHT. lol...I'm the exact as u...eating healthy gets my sweet tooth going...ugh. Good luck!!! - by KAM1085
