cracker barrel. pancakes. bacon. you can have them and stay in your calorie fat and carb count easy peasy. i took my 8yo to cracker barrel for breakfast today because it's his spring break and i wanted to do something fun and the weather has been gray and ugly all week. the whole way there, i agonized about what i was going to eat. i've been doing SO good and i didn't want to ruin it. i typed "cracker barrel pancake" into my handy dandy spark people app on my phone. it said a pancake is 110...

i'm like WHAT?! then i typed in "cracker barrel bacon"... 43 calories per strip.. again.. WHAT?! get their butter substitute and sugar free syrup (i tried it for the first time - not gross!) and you've just had a delicious and perfectly reasonable breakfast that doesn't break the cal/carb/fat bank!

    I discovered sugar free syrup a long time ago and I love it. I used it to sweeten a lot of things.

    @jalare - i know! i thought it was gonna be naaaasty, and while it wasn't the SAME as regular syrup, it's definitely doable, and i didn't feel like i was missing out at all! :D
