I try to get up an hour early so that i can get on the elliptical. The only way to get myself out of the bed is to put the alarm(which is a song that pumps me up) across the room & then i remember how much energy i had the day before when i exercised at 5am! Great!

a morning glance over sparkspeople keeps me motivated for the day
Every morning I get up at 5:40 and do homework until 6:30 and then before my kids get up at 7:00 I use my sparkspeople to keep me motivated and start my day off focused. Plus I get to start the day feeling proud of myself, not something a lot of people can say.
I did my first 5K ever a couple weeks ago and I did a lot better than I thought I would because I haven't ran more than 1.5-2miles ever! While training on my treadmill I was doing it in 45min at 4mph. So when I did it in 37 min 10 sec I was psyched! And a photo company was there and they captured the moment I crossed the finish line!!! It was such a great moment for me! On their website I was able to purchase a mug with that picture on it.
So now every morning I have my coffee and am super motivated to keep it up!!
