For some reason, I have some obsession with winning. I used to be addicted to Yahoo!Answers, and I was obsessed with getting points and graduating to a higher level. Well my work has blocked y/a!, so now I've become obsessed with spark points. I go through the spark points page, and do everything I can to get as many points as possible on any given day. And i refuse to cheat.
Not only am I more educated, but I'm getting my 8 glasses of water in everyday, Making friends/buddies through message boards & blogs, logging more cardio than ever and I have lots of POINTS YAY.

Spark Points I earn each day is a pleasant challenge that is top priority on my everyday list. The Spark Points I earn each day motivates me to continue to do the best I can in my weight lose goal. As I earn Spark Points I receive extrinsic rewards from Spark People, this allows me intrinsic rewards for my self and I can continue to earn points without failure.Sometimes it takes a while to earn points, just like loosing weight .The Points help me personally to stay on track, I love the concept.
Are you chasing points with 'earn 3 points' for reading an article you didn't read? Are you posting into threads designed to earn points for posting - you KNOW the kind I mean! Points are only of benefit if they're EARNED. Be HONEST, for yourself. Earning them will work, IF they're earned.
If you EARN points, you'll know it - log diet & exercise HONESTLY, reply to posts in REAL threads, after THINKING about them. Don't kid yourself that collecting points is DOING it. It's NOT!! EARNING points is what's it's about.
The more you EARN, the more they'll mean, and be worth it!
