Special K low fat Granola is great in lots of ways.
This lower fat version has 190 calories per half cup, with only 3g of total fat. Heat it with milk in the microwave for under a minute and mix. Yum!I love granola with yogurt, so I measure 1/4 cup granola in a ziplock bag and bring it to work with me. I mix it with the yogurt at work for lunch.
Add craisins for a fruity twist!
Bananas Staying on the fruity theme, bananas have a couple of tricks up their sleeve as well. As well as making an excellent food for babies, peeled bananas can be wrapped in cling-film, frozen, then eaten a bit like ice cream!
On a non-edible note - you can also use banana skin to give brown leather footwear an extra shine. Just rub the inside of the banana skin over the shoe, then polish as usual (removing any rogue fruity bits!).
