Every day pick one thing to declutter, be it a drawer, a counter or your desk. Get a paper shedder and shred old bills or papers you no longer need, toss out anything you have not used in a year and give away any old clothes you no longer wear (like your old fat clothes), In no time at all your house will be less cluttered and look great!

Great idea to declutter. I get overwhelmed too and want to get it all done at once. I move some things around and then end up not putting anything away. I will try to remember that one area at a time is a lot easier.

Doing one thing right
I try to do at least one thing every day. It may be something small I have been trying to get done or something big. Sometimes a day will overwhelm if you look at all you have to do. you so I look at just doing one thing on my to do list. It allows me to start my day with a good frame of mind.

When you have alot of items to accomplish writing them down helps. Just don't let your list control you. I find if I write them down it get out of my head and makes it tangible knowing I will eventually get it done.
