When using a "to do list" make sure to "check off" your accomplishments instead of erasing or scratching them out. That way instead of seeing all the things you didn't get done, you can feel good about all the things you DID achieve.

Tired of not getting everything crossed off that "To Do List" each day?? Instead of doing a To Do List....I now do a "Done Did List"!! What I do is, as I complete or accomplish as task, I ADD it to my list of what I HAVE done that day!
Now instead of dealing with a list of anywhere from 5-10 things that maybe half were not getting done daily, I now consistently have a list of anywhere from 5-10 things that ARE getting done daily.
MORE INFORMATION:
And best of all? No more anxiety that I didn't get this or that done that is now put off till tomorrow AGAIN...and lots of good feelings that I have this list of what I "Done Did" that day and nothing put over to another day.
DONE LIST (not to be confused with another to do list)
To do lists are daunting and if not completed can be outright discouraging. So why not create a DONE list. It's a list of the tasks you've done (planned and unplanned) that will help you on your journey to creating a better you. It will serve as a positive reminder that little things add up and that one step / one day at a time you can reach your goal.
Once you've created it, print it and post it where you can see it. It will motivate you to add to it every day!
Make a list of everything that needs to be done. then start at the top of the list and dont do anything new until it's finished. Then cross it off the list. Move on to the next item doing the same until the list is finished. Add new things to the bottom of the list only.
MORE INFORMATION:
At first the list will seem overwhelming but as you see things crossed off of it that changes. It becomes motivating to see everything you have accomplished.
