A great way to add flavor to water is to throw a tea bag into your water bottle. It adds just a hint of flavor. Fruit flavors like peach or raspberry taste great. I always drink more water when I use this trick! It's also a great way to use up flavored tea that you may not like served hot.
In addition to needing my daily water, I am a Diabetic. Going out to lunch or dinner generally leaves me with 3 choices of beverage - water, coffee or tea. Plain tea is a very few times a year drink and decaff coffee is about twice a month at breakfast. I carry a couple of packets of Splenda with
me in my Diabetic kit and order water with a twist of lemon. Then I add the Splenda and I have a glass of water with a hint of sweetness and a hint of lemon. It tastes better to me than just straight water with my meal - half of which I've already boxed up to go.
