Overeating of sugar & refined carbs, taxes the pancreas an eventually paralyzes it's normal activity. The pancreas is responsible for regulating digestion & blood sugar levels. Getting hungry when we shouldn’t, we do not feel fulfilled after we eat, or need a sweet after eating to feel right. If you want to kick the sugar habit, put an emphasis on raw foods, as raw foods stimulate the pancreas. The pancreas is where our sugar is handled to digest foods & your nerves & brain depend on normalcy.
I am a sugar addict & eliminated all artificial sweeteners and sugar all together & not longer crave sugar. I still find myself occasionally wanting a taste of chocolate. Problem is just a little sugar will start a chain reaction of wanting more one hour later. At the end of day if I have more room in my calorie bank I will allow myself little chocolate when I am tired right before bed. As long as I get to sleep within the next hour I am unaffected the next day. My sugar cheat.
Since eliminating sugar and artificial sweeteners from my eating habits it has solved my life long hunger issues.
