Don'T Deny Yourself Everything




One sure way to lose control is to completely deny yourself. Choose what you really want and allow yourself a small amount. That way you don't feel like you're never allowed anything good anymore. It's all portion control!

  • I do not deny myself anything because I know that it will come back and bite me if I do!!! Love that restaurants now have mini desserts because then I can have a little desert without having to waste alot of desert. - by MOMAAGAINX2
  • I agree totally. I still eat what I want and I am still losing weight. I always pay attention to portions and stick to them. I also exercise 4x's a week to burn off the excess calories, sometimes I exercise on the weekends just cause it feels so good. emoticon emoticon - by IRMA46

  • You are so right! The only way to make your weight loss stick is to eat the foods you want in moderation. I always tried crazy diets that limited foods and within a few weeks would give up. I've been using the Sparks tracker since Nov 1 2010 and it helps me keep within my calorie range and make sensible choices. As of today I'm down 34pds and feel great. Spring is here and I'm buying clothes not because they fit me but because they look good.
