I have set goals.... and well, I didn't lose as much as I thought I would. but wait,... my stomach doesn't seem as big, my legs seem to be thinner/more toned... the zipper seems to be going up more easily (especially when they are right out of the dryer!). So if I didn't lose 5lbs this week as I had hoped, there are some changes worth noting! Bottom line is, if your goal isn't met, look for the little changes... those that give you the glimmer of hope.
