Shopping when the aisles are packed can be frustrating, especially when people are standing in front of your "go to" items and you're pressed for time.. so you grab whatever the "next best" item is and worry about it later- which can end up being not quite what you expected. Shopping when you know your store's not so busy can help eliminate the stress and hassle of trying to get exactly what you came for, and you won't be in anyone else's way either!

I grocery shop every week and I almost always visit two different grocery stores to get the best sales at each one. During the hot summer months, I keep a fairly good size cooler in my car for the perishables, such as frozen veggies, coffee creamer, etc. that I buy at the first store It does a good job keeping everything cold and fresh while I am shopping at the second store.
While shopping the other day I discovered that a local store that I shop at sells individual chocolates for 33 cents. They are 70 calories and if I only buy one then that is all the calories I am eating and seem to enjoy if so much more..493104
Many times I would buy candy bars for 4/$1 or 3/$1 saying that I would just have one a day and then eat them all in the car before I ever got home. Eating up to 1,000 calories. So now I only spend 33 cents and only eat 70 calories! Win, win in the finances and the calorie savings & still a treat!
