Secrets of Success

3x5 Card System Is Saving My Life!

I have been learning and using a 3x5 card system that was created by the Sidetracked Home Executives, sister Pam Young and Peggy Jones. It takes a bit to set it up, but now that I have been using it for a few weeks, I am learning to customize it for myself, and my apartment. In the meantime, my home is much cleaner and I am feeling much less stressed out! With the goal-setting skills I am learning here at, I am finally getting it all together!

  • Their books have been around for about 25-30 years! I found out about them through my sister. Our mom was a slob, so we never really learned to keep a proper house. Their directions literally changed my life. I no longer have to keep the cards, but my spices are still in alphabetical order! My house, though not immaculate, is always ready for visitors. I am never embarrassed when friends drop by. Drawers are neat, closets and pantry are organized. Files are neat and even the attic is in order! They are indeed amazing! And so funny to read! They are a life changer. - by MARYELLEN301

Their system never goes out of style. I have returned to it many time to get my act together. Having the physical 3x5 cards seems to work better for me than the electronic lists. - by HIKINGFAN
