This isn't my secret, it's one of his weight-loss rules that I thought would be very challenging but instead am finding it to be very helpful. Stop eating 3 hours before bedtime.

Those hours are when I tend to eat the most junk! By following this rule I am literally cutting out probably a third of my food intake for the day!

  • I read somewhere that you should try eating a bigger lunch and a smaller dinner. Who needs all those extra calories from your last meal of the day when you're about to go to sleep? - by WHELMROZ
  • Yes, it really helps. I try to do this my self. :) emoticon - by EFPACE
  • This is especially helpful for me as, being in college, my bedtime is a HUGE range. It can be anywhere from 10-3am. But everytime I want to eat I just look at the time and I think "Do I really want to stay up for three more hours? No, so I'm not going to eat."

This works for me anytime after 8, but before 8 I usually am still satisfied from dinner. - by HAYZELKAE
  • Diabetics may not have this option. They can reduce the evening snacking, but may need some food to avoid a morning drop. - by HAWKTHREE
  • Wonderful!!! I'm going to try it too. Thanks for sharing. - by LINDALEE14

No more late night snacking for me! - by LAKESIERRA
  • Me too! That's my Binge time!
Easier said than done! Good luck, I am going to try it too. - by EENERSLLIM
