I don't deprive myself of the things I really want to eat. If out to dinner and I would like dessert I just have 3 small bites or less. This way I have satisfied my craving without sabotaging all of my hard work of exercising and eating right.

  • For the first year on Spark I avoided all deserts, all sugar, all treats as much as I could with great success. Though I am not at goal and travel a lot, I only loosened up on that point in the last month. The three bite rule is my guideline, or two bite French girl secret. I have not been able to weigh myself on this trip ( over a month) but am hopeful that I am stable at least. This is a very good guideline for me, and thanks for reminding me that this 'rule' works for others on Spark. - by GGRSPARK
