Eating potassium-rich foods will help the body get rid of sodium. Bananas are the perfect on the go snack for dieters and diabetics. Potassium promotes blood flow to all the arteries. If potassium is low, the body retains extra sodium which will raise blood pressure. Try to have 1/2 banana daily.
