I'm always on time for appointments and scheduled events, but for a while, I would allow myself to skip exercise. So, now I make an appointment, and schedule myself a time to do what I need to do! A planned activity and time can be much more effective than a "I'll do some exercise today" vision.
The SparkPeople planner is handy if you're near your computer - you can get an email reminder. And you even get a spark point when you make an appointment. Win/win!

Make an appointment to worry! Great trick for keeping stress in its place!
If you find worries interrupting your positive outlook, set an appointment time for dealing with them. If stress creeps back into any other part of your day, remind yourself it's not time for that yet. During your "appointment" set a timer and devote all your attention to worrying. When it rings, move on to your next activity--just as you would with any other appointment. You'll be amazed at what this mental exercise can do to improve your quality of life!
Treat exercise like any other appointment you have to attend.
Make an appointment with yourself and do NOT cancel!
