I find that my boyfriend and I doing SparkPeople together has been incredibly helpful. He's very keen on cooking so when he makes a great healthy recipe he inputs it with all the ingredients and works out the serving/portion amounts, and then uses the SHARE feature with SparkMail to send it to me, then all I have to do is add to to my tracker! I do the same thing with things that I cook. Also we put motivational comments and goodies on eachother's Sparkpages, it's so nice to see that!
Every day, I adopt one of the motivational quotes that come across my desk and post it as my blog, sometimes adding pithy and appropriate comments. I then make a synopsis of the blog for the title and post the title in the huddle of each of my spark teams. This way, I am reminded of the motivational statement each time I post a huddle comment.41
Google "Motivational Quotes" or open a book of poetry and find one about Spring or Life! I turn to Buddhist writings and find something about breaking through obstacles like Faith has to be strengthened daily: A sword in the hands of a coward is useless!--Nichiren (12th C. Buddhist reformer) 414
