I have started hiking up hills everyday. I have lost significant weight so I decided to put 20 lbs in a back pack and wear it while hiking. I find this keeps me increasing my cardio as well as burning more calories. The added benefit is that everytime I pick up the backpack I realize the amount of weight I used to carry around on my body. I appreciate the weight lose even more.

wear a weighted back pack on your walks to burn more calories! I can't afford the weighted vest, so I am using pennies in a small back pack that weighs 6 pounds when I go out for my morning walks. Also, weight bearing exercise builds your bones! 256311
Once you reach your goal weight, continue to track your nutrition. I lost weight using Sparkpeople a few years ago and then after doing so, stopped tracking my food. Most of the weight came back. I've learned my lesson. I'm where I want to be but will keep tracking my nutrition and regularly weigh myself so hopefully I won't put the weight back on.
As you lose weight and your clothes become too big for you....donate them! Get rid of them! If you have a bigger wardrobe still in the back of your closet it makes it easier to put weight back on and lose track of how much weight you have gained!9
