These are great!! Only 110 calories for a bagel!!! That's amazing in itself... but they are also delicious!! They come in several flavors also. I've used them for breakfast, of course, but also just made pizzas with them tonight... yum!!!

Yes, these are great! I discovered these when we were visiting my son and daughter-in-law and have used them alternating them with the Ezekiel Bread as a part of my healthy regime.

I smear the bagel with 1 tsp of honey mustard and then layer 1 slice of reduced fat swiss cheese & 2 oz of lean deli-style brown sugar ham. I then microwave it for 15-30 seconds and I have a ham & swiss melt. Yummy!!!

Cut out the Middle
Cut calories by digging out the hefty middle filling of those big bread servings like bagels, biscuits, croissants, etc.. You can also buy the thin versions of bread e.g. Thomas' Bagel Thins
MORE INFORMATION:
I wanted to make a quick chicken sandwich on a dinner roll but felt guilty about eating all that bread, so I dug out the middle of the roll and barely noticed the difference in taste.
I enjoy an occasional bagel and found Thomas Bagel Thins (100% whole wheat) in my local grocery store (looks like flatbread). Only 110 calories with 5 grams of fiber! Lightly toast it and add a tsp. of reduced cream cheese or 'light butter' for a yummy and nutritional breakfast entrée.
Bagels can contain 2, 3, or even 4 normal servings of bread. If you must, have a whole wheat mini bagel or whole wheat thin bagels. Thinner bread usually has less carbohydrate and Thomas' 100% whole wheat mini bagels have 22 carbs.
