Shrimp is protein, low-fat, low-calorie, tastes great, cooks super-fast, and if you buy it and cook it at home, you can have a great meal for a fraction of what the same meal costs at a restaurant (one pound of cleaned, shell-on 31/40 count shrimp cost about $6.49 at my supermarket today).
