Find a way to push through those extra few minutes, finish that interval strong, or lift those last 3 reps. You may be miserable when its happening...and you will try to come up with a million reasons why you should just stop. But DON'T. Find that place, that reason, to help you push it out until the end. Your body will thank you...and that sense of accomplishment you will feel is like none other :) You deserve it

I love finding new ways to cook my old favorite recipes. Turning them healthy is actually very fun. For instance Turnip Fries...scalloped zuchinni...smashed cauliflower. Notice a trend here...ways to substitute potatoes. Hahaha. There are many others..but those are the ones that come to mind right at the moment.
Since I found SP in Jan. 2009, I have found so many new recipes that use healthy foods. We're trying new things, finding new ways to cook old favorites, and are definitely NOT bored with eating the same (diet) foods over & over again! Try at least one new recipe each week!
I kind of groaned when hubby brought home a bunch of kale yesterday (after reading about the health benefits) - but I looked for an Editor's Choice Recipe and we both enjoyed it! Will make it again. This type of experience has happened many times through the last year!!
