I try not to eat carbs alone too often. Eating carbs with some fat or protein helps me feel satisfied. So if I have an apple I might have a few nuts or a little peanut butter with it. If I want popcorn I might have a little cheese with it. Fruits plus a little yogurt works great. Lots of water and fiber added to the mix really keep my appetite down!

Eating three balanced small meals a day with 2 snacks helps to control hunger.
Also I try to workout at least 1 hour a day... at least 4 to 5 times a week on the treadmill. It has been difficult to find the time because I am taking care of my husband as he has just suffered 2 strokes & 1 small heart attack.
