Of all of the tips I learned while losing weight, drinking my water at room temp was the most life-changing for me! I had been sipping my cold water all day until I discovered (learned from a seasoned dieter) that if I drink my water at room temp I could gulp it down in seconds. 2 litres of water has been a minimum of water intake for me since then...for the last 2 years...and it is EASY.

    My husband thinks I am funny because I have always drank room temperature water! It goes down easier!

    Other than avoiding "brain freeze," I don't understand why drinking water room-temp makes a difference. Thanks!

    I have noticed this as well! Also, I would rather drink out of a water bottle with the sip cap (don't know what to call it). emoticon

    I think I read that drinking ice water burns more calories, but if we don't drink it because it is too cold, that doesn't apply! I like this secret!

    Hi I been drinking drinks at room temperature for years everybody thinks I'm crazy but i can't imagine drinking ice cold water it makes me sick. I'm glad that this was submitted by Sparkpeople.

    I've never heard this before, and at times just the thought of drinking water makes me cringe. I am definitely going to try this out!
