It seems obvious, but when you eat something "bad" -log it! It is usually not as bad as you think, you regain power by taking ownership of it and best of all, it reduces the guilt.

Very well put. We are only human and need to be accountable and not beat ourselves up over being "bad". Once we accept we made a mistake we can learn from it and move on

The thing that has motivated me the most is having the sparkpeople app on my phone. I log my calories, water, and exercise through the app. Also if I need to I can login to the site. I know that no matter where I am I can check foods, calories and stay motivated all day and night.
If your craving something that is out of your calorie range, create and play in the kitchen to create a new healthier version. Another good one is to use substitues, freeze pudding cups for 3 hours - is just like soft ice cream and alot less calories and portion controlled.
