At the beginning, I started with walking to the road with my sis (I was really out of shape) the next day I walked a bit farther... as I got stronger, I added time to my walk... 6 months later, I was going for hour long walks!

Such a simple secret but one that needs to be shared AND USED. Adding a little more each time you are stronger is so doable.

Agree with the dancing in the livingroom! If a good song comes on the radio I crank up the volume and my kids and I have a spontaneous dance party in the kitchen...great exercise and super fun too!!

I learned that if i have music that is starts out slow and gets faster as my workout does my pace moves with it.
MORE INFORMATION:
Example: medium paced song, faster pace, faster pace, ect ( speed up as many times as you want), medium pace, slow pace.
I ride my exercise bike (and read a book) for 10 minutes every morning before my shower. It gets my heart pumping, and gets my knees moving so I can begin my day.
If you have older kids explain to them about one of the goals in your new healthy lifestyle is to get exercising. Give them a job of getting your moving. Tell them you will give any idea they come up with a try as long as they are doing it with you.
