I always cook extra portions and store leftovers in Hefty One-Zip storage bags. They take up very little room in the refrigerator and can be rinsed and reused or tossed after use.

Better yet, rinse out that bag and use it again, instead adding to our landfills!

I also use them for freezer storage, since it is easy (and possible) to squeeze all the air out - I do have concerns about the disposability of them, though, so I always have little twinges of guilt when I use them (but not enough to stop!). emoticon
